EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a full time Credit and Collections Assistant for its Credit and Collections Department at its Corporate Headquarters located in Cinnaminson, NJ.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

This position is an administrative position to assist with the day to day operations in credit and collections and possible other departments if needed.

Assist Credit and Collections with processing credit cards, sending invoices, answering phones and directing calls to collectors.
Assist with gathering, researching and updating client data for credit and collections.

Answer phone calls for the Credit and Collections department.
Assist with various projects as assigned by manager.
Work in coordination with other team members to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.

Requirements:

High School Degree or equivalent

Associates Degree is a Plus

Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Must be detail-oriented

Must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments

Excellent communication skills

Ability to interact with all levels of employees and departments

Available Shift:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 AM to 5:30 PM (Flexible)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing business to business collection by contacting delinquent customer accounts.
Maintaining customer files.
Researching billing and payment discrepancies.
Assist with setting up payment schedules as needed per Manager's approval.
Maintain COD Payment request System.
Provide customers with reports when requested.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business to business collection is preferred.
Must have good customer service skills.
Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Must be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Micro-soft Word experience.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within credit collections is required.
Possess good verbal and written communication and problem solving skills.

Available Shifts:
Monday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Training shift to start will be Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..
