Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

The Court Operations Lead provides direction to the Clerk of the Superior Court staff and assists supervisors and management with the completion of administrative duties, training, and research. This position will also provide the public, legal community, Courts, County, and other government agencies access to the judicial system and related public records, to allow them to pursue legal processes and obtain and maintain legal and financial records and information.

We Require
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of experience performing clerical functions such as document docketing, filings, and transmissions, reviewing and interpreting court orders, and preparing and evaluating statistical reports
  • Post-secondary education may substitute for two years of the experience requirement
Job Contributions
  • Provide lead direction to staff by distributing and assigning incoming work
  • Perform quality assurance inventory audits to ensure the highest quality standards and maintain statistical data for status reports
  • Prepare and deliver training to staff members or other members of the Clerk of the Superior Court
  • Conduct research to determine the eligibility of materials for release and disposal; perform complex research and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Identify and notify appropriate parties and agencies of pending appeals; prepare and transmit the records on appeal
  • Prepare statistical team reports which include assisting staff with goal setting for Clerk of Court standards
  • Act on behalf of supervisors in their absence

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time while completing computer activities
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry, push or pull from one courthouse to another
