This position will provide case management for at-risk students and their families and act as a liaison to increase student/parent engagement and communication with school staff. The candidate will work with approximately 20% of Skyline High School (roughly 250 students annually), collaborate with school and community partners, and document all attempted interventions and outcomes. The position will use attendance data, course completion, and behavior data to identify at-risk students and provide intensive case management. In partnership with families, the candidate will develop an engagement plan for each student, including course completion goals, credit or unit recovery plans, regular check-ins, and academic support as needed. In addition, they may provide on-site school/classroom coaching to students and staff as it relates to social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success and support of district initiatives.
