You are a Merchandise Analyst, looking for that next challenge in your career. You have a “whatever it takes” attitude, an analytical mind and a great ability to build relationships across departments. Experience within a retail office environment will be highly regarded.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the Wholesale Merchandise Analyst role is to work closely within the relevant Supply Chain groups to optimize all allocations and distributions to stores. This role will be responsible for assisting in achieving the key business drivers in Sales, Profit and Inventory targets for a specific Brand across specified regions through an effective supply chain strategy.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or higher level degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain/Merchandise Management, Finance or business.
- Five or more years of experience managing within an Head Office Merchandise Environment
- Retail Planning and Merchandise Management experience
- Ability to understand technology and how this impacts supply chain/Merchandise strategies.
- Experience working in a similar environment preferred
- Project management and systems implementation experience
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels in the business
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Exceptional organisation, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Aptitude with numbers and understanding of accounting concepts
- Ability to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Flexible and thrives on challenge on a day to day basis
- Reliable & helpful to all co-workers – strong customer service approach
- A sense of humour!
