BakeMark has an immediate job opening for Cost Analyst!

Summary: The Cost Analyst will collect and analyze financial information related to the organization’s Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and labor costs to provide accurate information on the projected cost of finished goods.

*Full time Monday - Friday $28.84 - $31.25 per hour*

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides estimates of finished good cost for existing and new products based on ingredient cost and labor.
• Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs.
• Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepares periodic cost reconciliation, reports tracking data such as changing labor, and supply costs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• Associates of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• At least three years of related experience and/or education required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
