ROLE of the POSITION
The Center of Excellence (COE) team provides Salesforce best practices guidance, system support, and development for business units across the University. Reporting to the COE Director, the Salesforce Administrator is an integral member of the COE team responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the UNLV Salesforce system as well as acting as a champion for system use and process improvement within Salesforce. The Salesforce Administrator will ensure the UNLV Salesforce system is operational, efficient, and satisfies the needs of users. In particular, the Salesforce Administrator has administrative responsibilities, project responsibilities all the while demonstrating strong capabilities as a professional on the COE team.

Reviewing release notes, testing, and disseminating relevant release information in a timely fashion

Utilizing Data Loader and Demand Tools to load and update data

In addition to the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for working with the COE and Digital Strategy and Transformation (DST) teams to continually configure the system in ways that best leverage the technology to support business processes and improve efficiency and service. The Salesforce Administrator will perform complex, professional level duties in analysis, evaluation, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance.

Excellent ability to communicate effectively (both in writing and verbally) with a diverse staff, faculty and community and effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical constituents.

Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues in a university setting, including academic departments, advising centers, student support units such as Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, etc.

Experience with Salesforce Lightning (Sales, Service, Community, and Marking Cloud) and Salesforce Certified Administrator is preferred

Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, self-manage and prioritize.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or and at least two (2) years of related professional experience. Higher education experience is preferred. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. The position is contingent upon funding with a minimum starting salary of $82,000.
