Spherion Ogden is seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual who enjoys working with people to join our client's team as a Talent Partner.
The Talent Partner position is responsible for ensuring the company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. The position attracts candidates using various sources, like social media networks, employee referrals and other creative applicant sourcing techniques. The position is also responsible for providing an engaging on-boarding and new hire experience for all hires, direct or agency. Our ideal Talent Partner holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
In this role you will:
* Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
* Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
* Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
* Screen candidates resumes and job applications
* Coordinate and conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
* Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
* Successfully partner with staffing agencies and manage the relationships
To be successful in this position you must:
* Must be able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
* Can easily adapt to a change in direction as needed by individual projects.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Problem-solving mindset
To be a qualified candidate you should:
* BS in Human Resources Management plus 3-5 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience working in a manufacturing organization
* Proven work experience as a Recruiter **Staffing agency recruiting experience is preferred
* Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
* Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
* Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
* MS suite: proficient level skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn additional programs as needed.
