Independent Stave Company seeks an additional Corporate Pilot to fly our PC 12 & CJ3 based out of Columbia, MO. This position assists in our aviation team's safe and professional operation, including all aspects of ground and flight operations.
Essential Job Functions of a Corporate Pilot
- Act as Pilot/Co-Pilot to flights for which the pilot has been assigned
- Consider passenger needs and perceptions and provide excellent customer service
- Comply with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation
- Operate assigned aircraft in agreement with FAA regulations, Aircraft Flight Manuals, Manufacturer Manuals and Publications, and Company manuals and policies.
- Ensure that pre and post-flight inspections are performed.
- Conduct preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions for the safety and comfort of passengers.
- Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts.
- Perform flights in day, night and in all weather conditions
- Make input necessary to start, delay, cancel or deviate flights from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
- Remain technically proficient and knowledgeable on assigned aircraft.
- Assist in passenger loading and unloading of baggage and cargo.
- Assist passengers with ground transportation needs.
- Revise published and electronic materials as necessary.
- Maintain training requirements on assigned aircraft.
Minimum Requirements of a Corporate Pilot
- Part 91 flight operations experience
- Commercial pilot’s license
- 2000 hours total time
- 200 hours of turbine time
- Current FAA First Class Medical (as required)
- Valid US Passport
- No history of accidents, incidents, or violations
- Resides or willing to relocate to within 1-hour driving distance of Columbia, MO
- Extensive travel required: 30-50%, occasionally on short notice.
