Position: Corporate IT Manager
Reports To: VP of Information Facilities

Position Overview: *Reporting to the VP of Information Faculties, the Manager of IT is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communication activities for all Cape Resorts and Corporate Office. This individual is responsible for proactive oversite of multiple hospitality IT environments, technical communication with vendors, and non-technical communication with home office and hotel leadership, as well as hotel owners.

These duties may be described as, but not limited to: *

• Ensure all technologies are proactively maintained and work reliably 24/7
• Assist in managing the day to day operations of the IT infrastructure
• Support and monitor existing infrastructure in conjunction with the outsourced IT provider
• Work with the MSP to deliver high quality IT support to stakeholders across all businesses
• Liaise with external suppliers and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Ensure that all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimize disruption to existing business use.
• To assist in designing and documenting internal changes
• Ensure that technology is used, managed and supported in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures.
• To ensure that back-up and disaster recovery processes are in place and managed accordingly.
• Some responsibilities will be conducted during normal office hours with some out of hours’ work (including Bank Holidays) required to resolve urgent support calls or perform planned maintenance.

Essential Job Function: *

• In collaboration with the VP of Faculties, develop, execute and direct the company’s strategic and operational IT plans encompassing:
• All operational systems across the various Proper business units.
• A broad digital presence including web, mobile, and brand marketing
• Corporate and hotel networks
• Cloud strategy for deployment of operational systems
• Systems management and monitoring to ensure maximum operational efficiency
• Security policy to exceed PCI and PII protection requirements

• Collaborate with service partners to ensure the continuity and company-wide integration of all systems, applications, and data consistent with the company’s IT mission.
• Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures of the IT function and ensure alignment of IT strategy with the company’s overall business strategy.
• Consult with the executive leadership team, operations leadership, and department managers, to discuss opportunities to enhance business value from IT, present new approaches for IT-enabled initiatives, identify user needs, resolve problems and discuss equipment/system changes.
• Grow collaborative relationships between the IT function and other departments and functions.
• Prioritize IT initiatives and develop appropriate justification along with a supporting detailed definition of capital investments, data requirements, and affected departmental processes.
• Develop annual IT budget and quarterly forecasts
• Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources, including hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: *

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree and relevant experience.
• 3-5 years experience in technology project management/IT operations
