USA, (www.buildwithusa.com) is a nationally renowned exhibit fabrication firm located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Our work includes the development of permanent exhibits for Museums, Visitor Centers, Zoos, and Aquariums.

Our (CC) must have solid technology, analytical, and management skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

The role requires at least seven years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Professional accreditations such as certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA) or chartered global management accountant (CGMA) and/or previous experience in public accounting are highly valued.

USA is a custom manufacturing business that supports design development and project engineering requirements. For this reason, it will be considered a plus if candidates have experience working with small or mid-sized custom manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities:

· Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions

· Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

· Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.

· Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans

· Analyzing and creating internal and external financial statements

· Coordinating activities of external auditors

· Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

· Managing the budget process

· Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes

· Evaluating accounting and internal control systems

· Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed

· Developing and monitoring business performance metrics

· Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance

· Hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff

· Protects and keeps the company’s’ finances confidential

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· Professional accreditations such as certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA) or chartered global management accountant (CGMA) and/or previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

· The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations

· Attention to detail

· Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates

· Good understanding of international finance

· Organization and project management

Level: Senior - Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Employment type: Full -Time

Pay Scale: based on level of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
