Position Information
The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Experience invites resumes for a full-time, twelve month, exempt contractual position with limited benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Create a comprehensive leadership training for student leaders.
  • Plan out-of-class educational and co-curricular activities for students.
  • Support program planning for over 100 registered student organizations.
  • Oversee student volunteer processes and initiatives.
  • Program wellness educational initiatives that support student’s decisions to lead healthy lives, make good choices, and become more involved as student leaders.
  • Provide event planning and risk management support and training for student leaders and club advisors.
  • Serve as backup advisor to student organizations.
  • Participate in a variety of campus community events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One to three (1-3) years of related experience in higher ed or other educational setting.
  • Prior experience in university, college or K-12 setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or Counseling

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Must be able to relate to diverse students.
  • Must be able to develop rapport with supporting services in the university setting to foster a positive work environment.
  • Must have sensitivity to a diverse campus population.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a high energy, fast paced setting and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
