Experienced Walk in Cooler Installer/Sheet Metal Worker
- Hourly pay is $17 to $20 per hour (may pay more which will depend on experience).
- Differential Pay for overnight.
- Located in Port Saint Lucie
- Sign-on bonus $500.00 after waiting period.
- We pay every Friday through direct deposit, if you do not have a bank account, we can provide a rapid pay card for you.
- We offer vacation and holiday pay
- Must be willing to travel, we provide transportation out of town as well as hotel and per diem for meals.
Job description:
We are a Walk in Cooler and Freezer installation company. Been in business for over 17 years. We install coolers and freezers in big box retail, grocery stores etc.
We currently have positions open for installers. We are looking for people who want to grow with our company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. alone and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to work in different temperatures, including operating freezers and non-climate- controlled buildings.
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to travel out of town.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, depending on the job we work, days or nights and occasionally weekends.
- Must have a valid Id or Driver’s License
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in heights up to 28 feet and climb ladders above 12 feet.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience:
- Walk in Cooler installation: (Preferred)
- Or
- Carpentry: (Preferred)
- Or
- General construction: (Preferred)
- Or
- Willing to train the right person, looking for a career. License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Preferred) Willingness to travel:
