What you'll be doing:

You will produce breakfast, lunch and/or dinner menu items, including items pertaining to therapeutic diets, room service delivery, catering needs, and staff meals. In the absence of the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine, you will assume responsibility of the kitchen, including leadership ofthe kitchen staff, food safety/sanitation, food preparation and presentation. At the direction of the Sous Chef and/or Chef de Cuisine, you may be asked to delegate specific duties to other staff members to ensure that all items needed for meals or events are prepared on time. You will adhere to and help ensure adherence to all established Dining Services policies and procedures.

About you:

• Three (3) to four (4) years’ line cook and/or food preparation experience within a hospitality- and culinary-focused environment; to include multi-venue hotels, resorts, restaurants, and/or high-end senior living environments.
• One (1) year of entry level kitchen leadership experience is preferred.
• Any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses that are required in order to work within the food, beverage, and/or health services environment.
• You consider quality a priority over simply getting things done. You aren’t satisfied until residents and peers feel confident in your service/product.

Compensation Range: $24-$27.82 / hr DOE
