Cook - Responsibilities:
- Prepare all served food
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
- Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- The Cook position is responsible for the preparation and serving of food for the Nutrition and Dining Department at Spring Creek.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking high production kitchen environment required.
- Must be able to quickly and courteously make changes to foods prepared to comply with rapidly changing patient needs and restrictions.
Cook - Qualifications:
- Previous cook experience Required
- Long term care experience Preferred
- Ability to multitask / Time management
- Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
- Willing to submit to background checks
