Oak Park Place is hiring for a Cook for our beautiful Albert Lea location. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing organization in offering exceptional care to seniors in a warm and caring environment. What you’ll be doing:

• Portion and serve food to facility residents
• Cook food according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and number of portions to be served
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of kitchen or food preparation
• Experience working with seniors is preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation rules
• Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Understanding or ability to learn the use of commercial kitchen equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour
