Job Summary
This position is a non-benefit eligible position that works variable hours as needed. Under the supervision of the Head Chef and Assistant Chef, prepare daily menu items to recipe specifications. Entry-level cooking position supporting cooks and chefs. Provides daily food preparation and work environment sanitation.
- $500 Sign-Bonus – ½ paid at first check and ½ paid after 90 days, if eligibility requirements are met.
- Hourly rate for this position is $20.50/ per hour

Education/Skills Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Cooking experience required, Culinary Degree with accompanying experience preferred.
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
A valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet the eligibility requirements of the College’s current Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Serve Safe Certification. Other Experience Requirements: Three years experience in kitchen production required. Demonstrated understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings.
Standard Work Days and Hours
Various shifts available in morning, afternoon, and evening with flexible hours, including weekends. Willing to work with candidates on their availability. Added hourly pay differentials for second shift (10%) and third shift (15%) apply.
