About the Opportunity
The Control Specialist will ensure proper deployment, implementation, training, and support of the control systems for our sand silo operations, our AutoBlend, top fills, and bucket elevators technologies. This position will work closely with the Equipment Specialist, and Field Service Technicians to ensure proper setup and operations of all Solaris equipment and technologies.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain and trouble shoot the systems in the field
  • Develop and manage the internal assembly of the control systems
  • Continuously improve the performance and manufacturing costs of the systems
  • Ensure scheduled generation of upgrades and timely implementation
  • Consult with Control Systems Developer, Control Specialist Manager, and Instrumentation Engineer to ensure proper functioning of systems
  • Work closely with the assembly team and FAT
  • Perform related work as required
  • Work with Field Services closely for proper system maintenance

Experience/Education

  • Strong technical skills
  • 24 VDC competency
  • 480 VAC three phase competency
  • Computer literacy
  • PLC and VFD knowledge
  • Associate Degree or Certification in the following, a plus:
  • Electrical
  • Networking
  • Computer science
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
