Job Description Summary Everyone at AAM-Ridgway is responsible for safety, quality, and efficiency, and we take pride in build an open and inclusive workforce. This role is tasked with developing and implementing new technology to improve the processes, evaluating controls systems and components, and developing controls training for Associates.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, self-starter, and have strong communication skills.
Evaluates control systems, products, components, and applications.
Work with and program different types of FANUC robots and automation.
Evaluates new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or driving test procedures.
Prepares and/or reviews electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering subject areas by answering questions and requests.
Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
Leads supplier development and delivery.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Electrical Engineering degree (2 or 4 year) or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
