Job Summary
The objective of this role is to allow seamless business practices between MacLean Fogg Component Solutions and internal and external customers. The candidate will be responsible for reflecting the financial acumen for the operations and become a business partner to all analytics as it relates to the products, activities, and support functions. Being friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills is necessary for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
Job Duties
  • Assist with all Financial and Accounting activities to support the consolidation, translation and reporting of MacLean Power in compliance with US GAAP
  • Creation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly metrics in support of the local management team
  • Perform month-end close transactions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and HFM financial loading
  • Prepare required financial analysis reports and activities
  • Manage Capital Appropriation Request process to include monitoring committed and actual spend, capitalizing and disposing assets, depreciation posting, and FAS maintenance.
  • Assist the A/P, A/R, and other accounting staff as needed
  • Support internal audit procedures and assist with external auditors for year-end requirements
  • Administer internal controls and audits of policies and procedures meant to preserve the organization's assets
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting a four-year college/university and 10 plus years of related experience and/or training
  • CMA or CPA preferred
  • JD Edwards and Hyperion (HFM) experience a plus
  • ERP and financial software experience required
