Controller/Bookkeeper Job at Confidential Priviately-Held Company
The Controller/Bookkeeper role reports to the President and is a detail-oriented individual who oversees the company's financial records and administrative staff. This person is responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts. These functions include, but are not limited to, the timely preparation and submission of all applicable accounting and management reports, including all tax and employee benefit related reports. Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with government agencies
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors
- Maintain internal books and finances
- Prepares monthly and annual financial reports and reports required by regulatory agencies
- Serves as the MIS manager of the Company as well as basic HR functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Five years minimum full-charge bookkeeping and accounting experience required with experience in contracting/construction or related industry strongly preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
