JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Controller is directly responsible for managing the accounting department and producing critical financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets on all company activities that will assist executive management in making economic decisions about the company’s future. The position requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan’s Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present financial reporting and potential risk areas to senior management.
- Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination
financial statements, annual audits and budgets.
- Oversee the activities of company disbursements, ensuring the accurate and timely processing
and total payroll tax compliance.
- Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely
application, funding service management, which includes weekly reports, quarter and year-end
payroll closing including federal and state reports and check statistic management.
- Assure income tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all income tax
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes
- Respond to Managing Members as assigned with accurate and timely work to
- Establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and

- Supervise and manage the finance department staff employees, perform timely annual reviews
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required.
- MBA and/or CPA Certification is preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Expertise in Accounting and Finance procedures.
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate Financial results.
- High level of skills in mathematics and problem solving.
- Understanding of Financial Reporting and Accounting best practices and current regulations.
- Possesses strong supervisory and management abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word,
