A well-established provider of factory automation solutions is seeking a Control Panel Builder to join their team. Job Requirements: Thorough knowledge of NEC, UL508A for the design of control panels, wiring diagrams, develop BOMs; AutoCAD experience; Ability to select drive components for proposals and WDs; Able to develop I/O list from P&IDs and/or customer's existing wiring diagrams; Review customer supplied WDs for accuracy. Make corrections (red line) as needed; Assist panel shop with wiring questions, testing of panels; Develop proposals based on customer requests; PLC programming not required; however, knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC components, drives, contactors, panel components (and other manufacturers as well) etc. is important.
