This role is preferred Houston, TX or Dallas based potentially another location where Meriplex currently holds a physical office. This role will report to the Recruiting Manager

Duration: 6-month contract with possibility for extension
Location: In-Person

  • Actively prospects, pre-screens and activates candidate leads through cold calling, email and text blasting. Identifies relevant open job opportunities that match the candidate’s specialty experience and professional interests.
  • Understands Salespersons for proper recruiting. Creates compelling candidate profiles for submission to hiring managers. Follows up daily on active candidate submissions and collaborates with managers to ensure candidates move rapidly through the hiring process.
  • Ensures interviews are scheduled and works with managers to solicit assignment and extension offers on behalf of candidates. Able to pre-close and close offers with candidates to drive offer acceptance.
  • Partner with the Recruiting Manager on sourcing strategies to generate a sufficient pipeline of candidates. Utilize your networking skills here but also get creative. Everyone is looking for talent – emphasize how we stand out in a crowd.
  • Ensure that sourcing and recruitment efforts comply with federal and state laws, and local procedures governing EEO/AA. HR doesn’t stand for Huge Risk- we want to ensure compliance but more importantly that we are treating all applicants, internal candidates, and potential employees with equity and respect for the process.

Let’s work together to succeed together! Relevant experience in the following areas is a good start:

  • Proficiency using ATS systems (JazzHR) FYI this might be changing; we are looking at a new HRIS and potentially a new ATS along with it.
  • Comfort utilizing job boards and social media to source prospective candidates AND getting on the phone, potentially even texting candidates.
  • Project management and timeline management the better you can get the best candidate in the door and manage the whole cycle the better!
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. You will be the face of Meriplex and we expect that you are excited to represent that aspect of your role.
