SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. (SBG), a DSS, Inc. company, offers IT Governance, Systems Engineering, Enterprise Modernization, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security innovation to federal and commercial clients nationwide. We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual looking to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard-working, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced government contractor environment and is someone who has a positive energetic attitude. Candidates need to be located local to the headquarters office in Alexandria, VA, but will be able to participate in hybrid remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Contracts Manager for corporate initiatives operating in various sectors, including Defense, Intelligence, Civil, and Commercial arenas.
- Manage and coordinate contract functions with a focus on all facets of the contract and internal business optimization initiatives.
- Acts as liaison between SBG and clients/vendors.
- Support Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFI/P/Q), to include reviewing the RFP/Q to provide guidance to the business on the FAR, DFAR, or other clause impacts.
- Provide expertise and counsel to account executives and their program leadership on contractual and procurement matters, including contract types, regulatory compliance requirements, organization conflicts of interest, risk mitigation, and monitoring operational performance in line with corporate objectives.
- Maintain well-organized contract files and documentation to support compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable laws.
- Experience with US government civilian agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (experience coordinating and negotiating with the Technical Acquisition Center), DoD, HHS, DHS, and GSA. Experience with VA T4NG contract vehicles is highly desired.
- Experience with contractors in the US federal government.
- Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a in a contracts or procurement-related field.
- 7+ years of experience in contract and subcontract administration including overseeing negotiations (preferred agencies- VA, DoD, HHS, DHS, GSA).
