Founded in 1805, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is America's first school and museum of fine arts. Located in center city Philadelphia, PAFA is intimate in scale with a strong sense of community. PAFAs undergraduate degree offerings include a BFA in Studio Art and a coordinated BFA with the University of Pennsylvania. Graduate programs include an MFA and Low-Residency MFA degree, and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate. POSITION: Continuing Education Enrollment Coordinator
The Continuing Education Enrollment Coordinator will provide programmatic, administrative, and clerical support to the Director of Continuing Education in day-to-day operations of the department, with an emphasis on student recruitment and academic advancement. Specifically, the Coordinator will manage the Registrars functions of the school database (Blackbaud), including course creation, enrollment, grade reports, and transcripts. Additionally, the Coordinator will oversee opportunities to expand the CE audience and promote Admissions programs, including creating and editing marketing materials, managing PAFA website content, and supervising enrollment recruitment programs such as the CE Certificates and Open Academy.
This is a full-time, hourly position that includes a comprehensive benefits package.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Maintain registrars function of the school database (Blackbaud), course creation and scheduling, enrollment, grade reports, and transcripts.
- Assist the CE Director with creating and scheduling CE courses and drafting/editing course descriptions for registration site content.
- Assist in the creation and editing of publications, promotions and advertising, and PAFA website content.
- Coordinate the Open Academy and CE Certificate Programs, and support the implementation of other CE/partnership programs as needed
- Respond to inquiries and handle written and oral correspondence with students, faculty and staff, and the public.
- Assist in student advising.
- Participate (with other CE staff) in the supervision of online and in-person CE classes, including the support of student and faculty needs
- Ad hoc duties as required.
