JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of clinical, technical, and soft skill training programs including creating print and web-based training materials. Responsible individual will also conduct training select training courses and track the effectiveness of training.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p (Flexible)

ESENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design, develop, deliver, record, and evaluate training materials for in-person, computer or web-based training.
• Develop traditional print materials and presentations.
• Create the design and layout of projects for Cenikor Foundation, including, but not limited to, content designs, multimedia presentations and print.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of instructional design standards and developments, and assist in creating internal standards for training development projects.
• Utilizes the learning management system for creating and implementing web-based training, online exams and modules.
• Investigates, analyzes and learns current and/or future technology trends.
• Support instructor-led training activities through the production of audio video.
• Work closely with Director of Talent Development, to identify root causes & needs and develop solutions for improved training content.
• Work with subject matter experts to design nursing & counselor training programs to support excellence in nursing & counselor documentation, which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, action learning, and e-learning.
• Develop and maintain a system wide process for training new nurses & counselors on documentation standards, progress note documentation, nursing assessments, clinical justification documentation and other nursing & counselor documentation.
• Work with subject matter experts to design learning guides and training programs for all positions to support excellence in their specific roles, which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, action learning, and e-learning.
• Act as an onsite training representative as needed.
• Maintain status as subject matter expert in content development and documentation.
• Assist Director of Talent Development with evaluating training program’s effectiveness, success and development.
• Maintain a keen understanding of training success trends and documentation best practices.
• Support LMS as backup for team as needed.
• Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadline and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
• Uphold the core principles of Cenikor’s culture and create a positive working environment for all team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as assigned in this job description.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

• Experience developing projects using Articulate Studio (Storyline), Adobe Flash, Captivate, Visual Communicator, InDesign.
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access and Visio.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
• Rapid e-learning development using Articulate.
• Exceptional written and interpersonal skills, including strong proofing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage projects using the ADDIE model and AGILE development process.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory, needs assessment tools, instructional design methods, blended learning strategies, and pre-post training assessment tools.
• Possess good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Presents a professional, positive image.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred in instructional design/training content development.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
