Description
The Team Lead is an experienced leader who can provide operational guidance to clients, and support to engagement team members. A critical role in our organization, the Team Lead will mentor small group Consultants and review their work to ensure high client satisfaction. They are SMEs, a coach, and a client confidant.
They recognize that they cannot be all things and are happy to work in partnership with project managers, salespeople, and developers across all Ebix divisions.
Our Team Leads have strong relationships in the Wealth Management, Life Insurance, and Annuity industries having held various operational roles at either a Carrier or Distributor.
They are in touch with industry trends and attuned to clients' business concerns.
Detailed Job Description
Objectives of the role:
- Provide guidance and insight to clients.
- Provide mentorship and expertise to Consultants.
- Develop strong and durable client relationships based on trust and expertise.
- Work closely with salespeople to identify new opportunities and to help expand business relationships.
- Partner with project managers to develop delivery plans that are practical and achievable.
- Break down engagements into detailed activities for members of the engagement team, with an eye on efficiency.
- Manage utilization of assigned Consultants
- Gather detailed requirements in order to produce work estimates
- Deliver higher value assignments such as Audits, Certification Training, and Process Design.
- Manage project budgets and engagement run rates or work with the Project manager.
- Manage project timelines or work with the Project Manager to manage timelines
- Participate as a member of the Life & Annuity Practice Management Team.
