Ellucian is seeking talented individuals for a Colleague Consultant role that have strong functional/technical working knowledge of Colleague ERP. This is a unique, remote, position role where you will be providing guidance and support to a small group of customers by building rapport, working to understand customer issues, goals, and objectives, and becoming the customer trusted advisor.

This role is in the Managed Services - Advisory Services team, we are a fast-growing service area within the Ellucian Managed Services organization consisting of highly motivated individuals focused on sharing their knowledge and enabling customer success. Where you will make an impact

• The ideal candidate for this role is somebody with Ellucian Colleague experience within the Finance, Procurement and Budgeting areas.
• Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and self-starter with a can-do attitude.
• Working with end users to understand business processes and then working to help end users become more efficient and effective utilizing the Ellucian Colleague ERP system.
• Consulting with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
• Write and maintain technical specifications.
• Consult directly with users to help solve business challenges
• Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timetables for developing programs.
• Research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms.
• Create test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
• Provide user training on the Colleague ERP functions

What you will bring

• Experience with Ellucian Colleague required
• Experience Ellucian Colleague Finance required
• Experience developing and customizing programs using Colleague Studio highly desired
• Experience with Entrinsik Informer highly desired
• Experience with UniData RDMS and/or SQL highly desired
• Strong analytical and communications skills required

Desired Skills/Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server desired
• Proficiency in SAP Business Objects desired
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with CRM Recruit, CRM Advise and/or CRM Advance a plus
