SUPERINTENDENT

Waterman Construction aspires to hire an Superintendent to provide management oversight of field construction activities focusing on safety, quality control, scheduling and budget oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years’ experience
• Proven leadership and customer service skills
• Dependable, hardworking and self-motivated
• Superior organizational skills and professional composure
• General computer usage for reporting and scheduling tasks: email, excel, etc.
• Team-oriented but able to work autonomously with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct weekly project safety meetings, documentation and oversight
• Manage daily team scheduling and project reporting functions
• Supervise tasks and compliance with project documents including design and material submittals
• Responsible for the implementation and management of the Occupational Safety & Health Program at the jobsite
• Frequent interaction with end-user and Owner
• Provide direct project supervision of subcontractors and tradesmen throughout the duration of the project
• Assure the assemblies installed in the project will be completed in a timely, cost-effective fashion in compliance with design documents, and will be involved in the project from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
• Participate in monthly owner/designer meetings aided as appropriate by the Project Manager and Project Executive

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
