The Superintendent’s responsibility is to supervise the construction of a project, or projects, and to complete the work with a high degree of quality, on schedule, and within the budget.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Scheduling and Coordination of all subcontractors, vendors, consultants, etc.
• Ensure all subcontractors adhere to safety policies and all OSHA regulations.
• Ensure all quality control standards are met.
• Coordination of all required inspections.
• Ensure the project stays on schedule. Provide schedule updates and 3 week look ahead schedules
• Attend all OAC meetings
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Complete daily logs and take progress photos.
• Maintain good relationships with Clients, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers, and Inspectors

Required Skills include, but are not limited to the following:

• Must have strong technical and communication skills
• Must have strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Must have experience reading plans and specifications
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to stand alone on projects
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment
