The Project Controls - Planner/Scheduler performs planning and scheduling activities for assigned portions of the project and support organizational and administrative activies. This position will report directly to the Project Management team.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives as well as supporting and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish the same.
• Coordinate comments and recommendations for planning and scheduling requirements relative to staffing and project control.
• Review design scope criteria and quantities for completeness and reasonableness.
• Review the performing organization's and unit’s work logics and works with lead to determine whether the schedules will adequately support the overall project schedule.
• Assist with determining critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialties, and identifies significant activities supporting inter-discipline requirements.
• Maintain the Construction L3 Schedule for area of responsibility and develops and monitors short term (3 week look ahead) schedules.
• Monitor schedule deviation for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals.
• Lead planning and coordinating schedule interfaces with the owner, vendors and subcontractors.
• Support accurate schedules, resource, quantities, progress, and performance reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of planning and scheduling presentations to project and client management, as required.
• OSHA10 is required. If not currently certified, you are expected to obtain within first week of hire.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring
Our next Project Controls - Planner/Scheduler will possess technical skills, interpersonal skills and industry knowledge to perform their role, including:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration OR construction management equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience related to Construction and Engineering
• Experience in using scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar)
• Basic level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes

Bonus points for

• Knowledge in the use of PowerBI and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Experience in performing quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, and computer operations

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
