Position: Construction Manager (Vehicle Conveyers)

Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location: Madison, AL 35756
Pay Rate: Open/Market Rate (W2 ONLY)
** Must be local or willing to relocate at your own expense
Construction Mgr will work 60% of the time out of the Madison, AL 35756 location and travel 40% to the Blue Springs, Mississippi plant.
Candidates should be within a commutable distance to Alabama or Mississippi plant, as they will travel to both locations frequently.
Daily Responsibilities include:
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Working knowledge of Vehicle Conveyers (Has worked with conveyers, understands how the motors, tinker bells, mechanics, and gears work, not looking for a designer)
** Must have the OSHA 10 Certification
** Not looking for a hands-on construction types, looking for more of the Prj Mgr to lead and coordinate efforts for engineers and the plants.
** Must have experience using MS Office, using Excel, Word and MS Teams
** Experience creating presentations using PowerPoint
** Experience with CAD drawings experience (Opening drawings)
Desired Skills:
** OSHA 50 or Higher Ready

Daily Responsibilities include:
- Support upcoming Production Engineering Final assembly Projects.
- Support planning for installation of machines and processes related to the new production lines.
- Support construction management of contractors tasked with equipment installation per NFPA
- Confirm installation quality of machines and processes related to the new / modified production lines.
- Support client with the planning and assessment of feasible options for construction related activity.
- Liaison for client to construction contractor to validate for project management.
- Experienced industry support to younger engineers whom are learning the industry and trades.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Working knowledge of Vehicle Conveyers (Has worked with conveyers, understands how the motors, tinker bells, mechanics, and gears work, not looking for a designer)
** Must have the OSHA 10 Certification
** Not looking for a hands-on construction types, looking for more of the Prj Mgr to lead and coordinate efforts for engineers and the plants.
** Must have experience using MS Office, using Excel, Word and MS Teams
** Experience creating presentations using PowerPoint
** Experience with CAD drawings experience (Opening drawings)
- Working knowledge of primary Utilities (Electric power/Air Power/Water Cooler Engines/Piping) with equipment
- Knowledge/experience automobile vehicle conveyers (Big Conveyers)
- Some experience managing general contractors (Shop floor)
- Project management skills (Work with Vendors/engineers, communicate with management and Customers)
- Must be able to work weekends/holidays/Shutdowns
- Must be able to travel (up to 30%) – Vendor sites in USA (occasionally) only
- Overtime – 20% as per business requirement
- Education: Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
** OSHA 50 or Higher Ready
- Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling
- Experience with NFPA70E code.
