Position Summary:

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) is a growing, award-winning, and established union highway/heavy contractor looking for Concrete Laborers to join our team.

In this position you will be working on manual, smaller jobs such as curb and gutter repair, parking lots, loading docks, sidewalks, etc.

Our main office is located in Mendota Heights, MN. BR also has plant locations in Inver Grove Heights, Shakopee, Columbus, and Minneapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize tools such as screeds, floats, shovels, levels and more.
• Must have good manual dexterity skills and strength
• Must possess ability to work both supervised and unsupervised and have strong communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours and some weekends
• Must have the ability to hear, speak and follow directions carefully.
• Continually required to reach, pull, carry, grab, pull, and lift.
• Must possess both good strength and good endurance as work performed in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly on a daily basis

Preferred Experience/Education:

• Curb experience highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current driver's license with a good record
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions
• Class A license a plus (not required)
• Must possess a clean driving record and have a valid Minnesota Driver s License.
