Computers For People is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, based in Hoboken, NJ, that is dedicated to collecting, refurbishing, and donating computers to individuals and organizations in under-resourced communities to promote equity and access to opportunity. www.computers4people.org
We are looking for a part-time (15-20 hours per week) computer literacy instructor to provide technical help and teach weekly classes in New Jersey & New York City. This job will consist of coordinating, scheduling, and teaching basic computer classes and technical help sessions for clients of Community Access. This individuals will also be in charge of running our signature Computers 4 People 4 Teens class (teaching teens to build a computer from scratch). Our ideal candidate will need to have advanced computer knowledge, education/teaching experience, and patience. Also, this person must be friendly and personable when talking to clients and partners. This position will be responsible for transportation to and between C4P office and class locations.
The Computer Literacy Coordinator will report to the Executive Director.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
