MECO, a Grundfos Company, is seeking a skilled Compressor Mechanic, strong mechanical skills and experience working on high-speed rotating equipment. This position is responsible for an array of support skills including inspecting, testing and adjusting components of compressors in a manufacturing facility.

Skills required:

• Assembly and testing of high speed rotating equipment
• Minimum of 3 years of machining close tolerance of parts on CNC lathe, 5 years experience preferred
• Must be able to disassemble, reassemble, and test compressors using Engineering drawings, sketches, and manufacturing operating instructions

Minimum requirement:

• Strong work ethic including punctuality and attendance
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years work experience in the trade
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to read and understand written work procedures
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Dedication to quality work and pride in work

Physical requirements:

• Stand at least 6-8 hours/day, other body movements between 1-3 hours daily
• Lift and carry at least 10 lbs. frequently during the day and weights up to 75 lbs. on occasion
• Must be able to grasp, pinch, pull, push and use repetitive hand motions
• Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes in the production area

This position is considered full-time is provided company benefit package available. Work hours will be 1 – 9 p.m. with a shift differential.
