The Opportunity
DAT is looking for a Compliance Representative to join our Compliance Team in Beaverton, Oregon.
Working in a high performance team environment, you will be responsible for assuring the quality and integrity of the DAT Directory through the gathering of information such as proper Motor Carrier Authority, insurance verification, and up to date carrier profiles.

What You'll Do
- Analyze data received from the FMCSA/DOT website, SaferSys and the Customer Directory. Utilize reporting software to analyze the data and make recommendations.
- Deliver Customer Service, Product Support, and Customer Training.
- Audit and Validate Broker/Carrier authority of existing carriers. Maintain complete customer records, accurately update changes to customer records in Salesforce.
- Meet performance metrics, which include schedule adherence, utilization rate, monitoring, and call handle time.
- Make outbound calls to verify carrier insurance coverage and request updated insurance if needed.
- Train new customers on the use of CarrierWatch and DAT's Onboard, and provide ongoing support to customers.
- Update carrier watch lists via requests from customers, 3rd party information providers and internal resources.
- Analyze data from the DAT Directory through the use of Salesforce, Crystal Reports (Business Objects) and Excel.
- Report out as needed and/or make necessary updates to the DAT Directory based on data retrieved and analyzed.
- Be the "Voice of the Customer," by sharing customer feedback to help improve DAT products and services.
- Share potential sales opportunities with DAT Sales.
- Provide backup support to other Product Support teams by taking inbound calls, emails and chats.
The Skills and Experience You'll Bring
- 1-3 years Customer Service experience.
- Previous experience in a call center environment strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Intermediate analytical/problem solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Typing skills.
- Exceptional telephone skills.
- Basic PC skills including Internet navigation skills; specifically, the ability to use email and a web browser to locate, retrieve and process information in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Listening and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- DAT provides a laptop and optional equipment as needed for productivity. A hard-wired connection from the laptop to the router/modem with an ethernet cable is required. Wireless, satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot connections do not qualify because they can compromise security and call stability.
For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum compensation for this role is $20/hour + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
