The position involves working 1:1 supporting an energetic, active, and social woman managing her independent life and family skills as well as coaching to support her recovery from a TBI. The individual is a fan of concerts, family adventures in the city, horseback riding, and travel.

Preferences:

• Female caregiver
• Experience with therapeutic care or willingness to learn
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or willingness to learn
• Ability to travel out of country with client (international travel is optional)

Requirements:

• Driver’s license and a clean driving record
• 2+ years of caregiving experience

General Duties:

• 1:1 Support for planning and organizing daily tasks with a focus on quality of life
• 1:1 Support to achieve health and therapy goals
• Transportation to/from medical/therapy appointments and social engagements
• Light support for family transportation, meals, and activities two afternoons a week
• Fun travel opportunities optional (recent trips to San Diego, NYC, and Alaska)

Pay: $28.00 -$30.00 an hour

Schedule: Flexible, 2:00 – 9:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday and alternating Friday or Saturday (some flexibility)
