The Community Food Project Coordinator, VISTA is an AmeriCorps position for Helping Our Women . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a motivated, self-starter. The goal of the position is to strategically implement and sustain a local food system to improve the health and nutrition outcomes of our clients and community with a focus on the most vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Food Project policies and procedures.
- Train and coordinate volunteers.
- Collaborate with community partners.
- Develop and execute a community awareness campaign.
- Organize food related programs.
- Create access to healthy and affordable food options.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24,053.12 per year
