Position Summary

The Community Ambassador will be responsible for contributing to and delivering on Sanitas strategy for the Senior population and community-based engagement. The Ambassadors will be responsible for effectively promoting Sanitas Senior Model and brand in the community.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver exceptional service to existing and prospective Medicare members/patients to ensure that Sanitas strategy is maximized each year.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships within the community.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships and processes with CGAs and brokers.
  • The Community Ambassador places patient needs, requests, and follow up as a top priority.
  • The Community Ambassador should be outgoing, energetic, and creative while performing their job responsibilities.
  • The Community Ambassador assists in the planning of community events, actively participates in on- and off-Sanitas Medical Center activities.
  • Must be able to meet specific leads creation and patient retention goals as outlined by the Community Ambassador Manager and Leadership.
  • The Community Ambassador works closely with the Market Lead and Business Develop Manager to support mission and goals.
  • Report productivity in CRM and as established by Community Ambassador Manager.
  • Ability to explain and talk about Sanitas value proposition, Sanitas services and Senior Care model to originate leads.
  • Marketing support to enhance brand awareness.
  • Provide event flyers, brochures, and nominal promotional items.
  • Work extended hours and weekends when needed at both indoor/outdoor locations.
  • Teamwork oriented and goal driven.
  • Works in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations that apply to the Medicare Advantage market.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service or similar role

  • High school diploma/ GED required

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Program e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Medicare Advantage and Medicare regulations.
  • Healthcare insurance knowledge.
  • Experience with Medical offices.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages and English).

  • Confident public speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Reliable and professional.
  • Possesses a personal and friendly demeanor.
  • Great customer service, sales, and closing skills as well as purposeful and timely follow-up skills.
  • Flexibility to be called upon when needed.
  • Ability to use own initiative and to work unsupervised.
