Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our Marketing department! This position will play a key role in facilitating effective communication through the lens of Rincon’s culture, history, and mission. Rincon is seeking a candidate who is team-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple short-term and long-term communication campaigns. The ideal candidate has a range of practical skills, including excellent writing, planning, coordination, and strong attention to detail. Someone who is deadline driven, can multi-task, and is willing to be flexible and jump in as needed. This position is also responsible for planning, driving, implementing, monitoring, and measuring results of communications plans designed to advance Rincon’s business objectives.
We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and proactive in finding unique opportunities and methods to communicate both internally with our team, externally with our clients, and teaming partners. This person will be aware of or seek new ways to develop, interpret, and visualize communications through creative technologies and/or graphics.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with executive team, business operations, and technical leads to effectively disseminate important company information
- Help write, edit, review, and publish content for various project teams, which may include but not limited to, internal quarterly newsletters, bi-annual client newsletters, service line blog posts, new hire and promotion announcements, company pulse surveys, email campaigns, and new service, market, or product promotions
- Offer creative ideas for increased engagement for both employee- and client-facing communication campaigns
- Support the strategic planning and execution of Rincon’s Annual Meeting and other company events
- Manage the internal and external communications calendar to effectively schedule and execute annual campaigns for holidays and events
- Manage social media accounts while tracking and reporting analytics
- Manage and maintain company client contact lists
- Help maintain and update SharePoint intranet and WordPress project websites
This Job Might Be for You If You Have The Following:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing is essential
- 5+ years professional experience in communications
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with scheduling and meeting internal/external deliverable deadlines with multiple groups and internal/external client contacts
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, deadlines, priorities, and teams
- Highly computer literate with capability in MS Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel), InDesign (not essential), WordPress, Zoom, and other communication tools
- Works well under pressure, maintain a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and trust
- Content writing experience for all media platforms with proven social media expertise
- Strategic and creative mindset
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, critical thinking, and active listening skills
- Proactively seek opportunities to build positive relationships with teammates, leadership, and others
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to adapt to change, as well as assess opportunities for improvements

The base salary range for this full-time position is $62,000-$86,000, plus benefits and bonus. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
