We are currently seeking a Commercial Surety Specialist to join our Surety team. The specialist will provide vision and oversight, including technical underwriting and marketing expertise, for the commercial surety line of business. They will be responsible for building and retaining a profitable book of commercial surety business including production, underwriting, sales and service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Underwriting and assessing risk and markets company products and services.
• Developing underwriting standards and marketing plans.
• Participating in rate setting activities and making recommendations for product changes.
• Developing and maintaining strong agency relationships and superior service standards with timely underwriting responses to agents.
• Managing assigned territory to achieve new business, profitability, rate, and retention goals.
• Mentoring and serving as a technical resource to teammates with development and the delivery of training programs.

This position will be located in our Sarasota, FL corporate office with a hybrid work option or remote within one of the states we write business.
