Electrical Components International (ECI) is looking for a Commercial Finance Director to join our team in Southfield, MI!!

Qualified candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field
• 5-10+ years of experience in financial analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

About the Position:
The Commercial Finance Director will be responsible for revenue forecasting and complex trend analysis for the organization. The Director will manage the annual revenue budget process and analyze actual revenue performance vs. forecast and budget.

Duties Include:

• Manage monthly revenue forecast process
• Gather data from regional operations and finance teams
• Conduct reviews with stakeholders to determine validity of data
• Analyze the data to identify key trends
• Compare data with market intelligence to gauge reasonability
• Coordinate with regional finance teams to ensure alignment of all revenue elements
• Develop forecast review presentation for executive leadership
• Manage annual revenue budget process
• Same as forecast, but on a different scale
• Analyze actual revenue performance vs. forecast and budget
• Monthly, analyze customer detail
• Crete summary reporting
• Prepare slides for monthly and quarterly MORs covering revenue impact of copper
• Analyze actual volumes and develop method for integrating volume into forecasts and budgets
• Liaison with sales team to ensure that new/lost business are properly incorporated into revenue walks
• Coordination with pricing group to ensure alignment with regional finance teams in conducting analyses
• Maintain database of customer sales actuals, forecast, wand budget which is fully aligned with Essbase
• Maintain PowerBI reporting for sales analysis, which is fully aligned with Essbase
• Other responsibilities and ad hoc analyses as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field
• 5-10+ years of experience in financial analysis
• Global finance experience in a manufacturing environment, with managing multiple plants/locations/facilities
• Experience with business analytics, long-term planning, complex trend analysis, and tracking of yield experience
• Revenue forecasting experience with a financial acumen
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
