Commercial Door Installation Technician Job at Quality Door & Hardware
We are looking for an individual who is mechanically minded to install doors, frames, and hardware in Central Wisconsin. This position is based out of our Wisconsin Rapids, WI location. We require a self-starter who can effectively manage their work days with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Installation of commercial doors, hardware, toilet partitions and accessories.
- Document job labor to facilitate accurate estimating of future work.
- Utilize a team approach to overcome challenges, share knowledge, and provide security solutions to our clients.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts and materials in our service truck.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Self-starter with results driven work ethic
- Valid Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to operate industrial power and hand tools.
- Ability to accurately measure building materials including doors and frames
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work outside and in adverse conditions (warm and cold - depending on the season).
- Ability to be away / overnight on an infrequent basis (overnight within Wisconsin).
- Experience with or ability to learn how to key locks/locksmith work.
- Experience with or ability to learn wire feed welding.
- Math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication of decimals, fractions, and whole numbers, with ability to read a measuring tape.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
