This position contributes to Nestlé Coffee Partners (NCP) success by leveraging customer Point of Sale (POS), shipment and forecasting data to develop reporting strategies and serves as the conduit between Marketing, Operations, Forecasting teams and our Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Customer teams. This position translates category marketing plans to executable plans while serving as the voice of the CPG customer into the category and is responsible for delivering the category’s business plan to the key teams and Acosta, our 3rd party retail partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the respective brand as a priority within the NCP Go-To-Market strategy to achieve all Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales Fundamental objectives. A steward of all NCP brands.
- Drive sales/customer needs to marketing and translate category-marketing plans into CPG plans that build brand equity and grow market share.
- Develop and deploy clear communication and cohesive category plans to CPG/3rd party retail partner teams.
- Co-create innovative ideas with the category/marketing organization to address CPG customer’s needs.
- Lead customer forecast process and ensure product production and delivery to meet customer needs.
- Key contributor to Joint Business Planning process from end to end – from Category to Marketing to Sales Planning to CPG Customer Team to CPG Customer.
- Champion business building ideas based on customer and customer team communications and market/customer analyses.
- Leverage customer, category and shopper insights to provide direct input into his/her respective brand’s P&L based on customer merchandising and sales promotion plans.
- Lead monthly merchandising plan reviews, coordinate new item introduction and associated distribution tracking, and create ad hoc reporting designed to drive business goals.
- Drive quarterly business planning process; Create and update item sell-in sheets.
- Ensure Go-To-Market plans, materials, and approach aligns with NCP and the overall brand strategy.
- Understand the key business drivers at each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and manage the CPG Go-To-Market master plan for his/her respective brand to ensure sufficiency to deliver CPG corporate goals.
- Integrate the work of NCP categories, marketing and sales planning to deliver cohesive aligned programs
- Exhibit strong business acumen and financial discipline when constructing and selling ideas and solutions.
- Educate multi-functional business partners on requirements of CPG customers
Requirements:
- 18+ months of experience in sales analyst role
- Experience with Shipment/Orders and/or business driving technology solutions (Syndicated data) such as IRI and/or Nielsen
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with a high level of independent analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferredAbility to meet or exceed critical metric goals
- Time Management and Presentation Skills
- Able to challenges current processes and generating innovative suggestions that improve performance even beyond own role
- Able to take immediate action to resolving issues or potential issues, ensuring partners are properly communicated to about the potential impact
- Knowledge of interrelationship of key functions and their key initiatives (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Technical and Globe & IS/IT)
- Knowledge of core Business Processes and Fundamentals (Sales/Distribution, Customer Planning and Managing, Financial Reporting, Training, HR Policies, Coordinated Commercial Planning, Nestlé Management and Leadership Principles)
The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
