Schedule: 2:30 to 1am; Monday-Thursday OR 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday

CNC MACHINIST

The CNC Setup Machinist role is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining. We are a high mix / low volume shop that requires a high skillset. This role is tasked with working in close concert with other machinist, leads, engineering team, and operations management to increase productivity and optimizing machining programs and procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex surfacing, contours, with aluminum, stainless steels, and titanium. They will need to be proficient in machine setups, and at time manual machining operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use of Fanuc, and Haas CNC controls.
• Following setup sheets.
• Knowledge of carbide tools and adjusting speed and feed parameters for maximum tool life.
• Producing machine fixture tooling, and setting up endmills/holders, setting machining offsets.
• Meets expectations for productivity and production goals.
• Constantly keeping products/projects moving.
• Provides consistent ideas for process improvements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of CNC Machining experience is perferred.
• Experience reading 2D prints.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

CNC Machinist/Level 1: $18.00 - $28.00/hour

CNC Machinist /Level 2: $26.00 - $33.00/hour

CNC Machinist /Level 3: $30.00 - $38.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. You may also accrue 2 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for paid holidays.
