JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Load plywood on machine.
• Responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines.
• Responsible for loading parts, proving out CNC programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities controls or control media as required insuring quality of production. Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor for maintenance.
• Operates a forklift or lifting devices for movement of parts, when certified to do so.
• Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, maintenance and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
• Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety Environmental Regulations.
• Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety measures.
• Wear required safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:

• Minimum 1 year of CNC Router Operator experience required.

Required Skills:

• English required for reading tickets and instructions.
• Must be able to use simple math to perform basic calculation and use basic hand held measuring tools.
• CNC operator technical training program completion or 1 year equivalent experience.
• This position requires manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high quality standards.
• Must perform job with safety as a top priority.
• Must be able to show up to work on-time and take direction from supervisor(s).
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for nine (9) hours or more daily.
• Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
