SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for detail-oriented CNC Operators and Programmers for a company in Round Lake, IL . A successful CNC operator should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! This is a temp to hire positions. Pay rates starting at ($23.00/HR-$26.00/HR)

Available shifts include 1st shift- 6:30am-3:00pm

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:

• Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete.
• Studies blueprints, sketches, or drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
• Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machine.
• Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachment accessories and material on the machine such as grinders and lathes.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, as well as the depth and angle of the cut.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to the specifications by using precision measuring instruments.
• Create .DXF drawings for outside service work (wire EDM, etc.)
• Complies with company policies and procedures with special attention to safety regulations.

Required Qualifications of the CNC Operator:

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience.
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Currently enrolled in an Advanced Certificate or A.A. degree program in Manufacturing Technology (or similar program) at a local community college with at least 9-12 credit hours already completed towards the certificate or degree, maintaining a C Average or better
• Proficient in Mastercam and SolidWorks.
