Starting Pay Rate based on Machinist Levels 1-4:

$18 - $27 Depending on Experience

Our climate controlled, state of the art machine shop provides opportunities to grow and develop your skills! We can train you to produce top quality aerospace parts on our CNC machines and we provide growth opportunities to move up from Machinist I to Machinist V. Our openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift right now. Our machinists starting pay ranges from $18- $27 per hour depending on experience plus night shift premiums from $1.87-$3.75 per hour depending upon Machinist Level.

Competencies:

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint requirements
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Basic windows/internet browser experience
• Ability to mechanically inspect machined components
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Required Education and Experience:

• At least three months of experience as a fully qualified CNC Machinist I or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Certification from vocational / trade school in CNC machining

Shift Times:

• 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM
