Responsibilities of the CNA/HHA Caregiver:
- Provide personal care using your CNA/HHA caregiver skills
- Light homemaking such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, trash removal, laundry, linen change
- Companionship by providing socialization to those who may rarely leave their home
- Medication reminders
- Shopping and errands as needed
- Safety supervision to seniors with memory loss
- Assist seniors to stay safely in their homes
Requirements of the CNA/HHA Caregiver:
- Must have a desire to help seniors stay safely and comfortably in their homes
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance
- Must be able to work in the US and pass a background check
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Successfully complete a competency evaluation and provide the CNA/HHA certification
- Must legally be able to work in the US
