Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate and patient person and have a natural desire to help others? We are looking for compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work with our rewarding and supportive home care team and make a positive difference in people’s daily lives. We are excited for you to join our team and currently have immediate opportunities. Pay is dependent on experience (DOE) from $20/hour - $25/hour and dependent on certifications and qualifications.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide focused individual client interactions and activities in accordance with an established

care plan

• Prepare meals, assist with serving meals, and feed clients in accordancse with service plan and

provide fresh water and nourishment between meals

• Assist client(s) with bathing, hygiene, and grooming needs

• Light housekeeping/cleaning and daily activities as needed and following service plan

• Assist with incontinence care and toileting

• Work closely with Case Manager to fulfill patient’s medical needs

• Schedule appointments (depending on service plan)

• Bandage care, transferring/positioning, and ordering medical supplies (depending on service plan)

• Work closely with family and medical providers to ensure client is comfortable and pain free at

all times (depending on service plan)

• Assist with inventory reports and ordering of supplies

• Monitor medications in accordance to doctors’ orders with regulations and training standards

• Available for transportation of client (appointments, medication, groceries)

• Observe and report any changes of client to care team; tend to client’s requests in a timely manner

• Document progress by completing forms, reports, and records

• Follow all policies to ensure a safe environment

• Adhere to company’s professional standards and policies

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful, with excellent communication skills and is dependable

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California

• Abides by all safety regulations and company policies to ensure safety of client

• Full compliance with patient confidentiality standards

• Have at least 1 year of previous experience and/or relevant work history

• Proficient English, second language is a plus (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or other language)

• Effective verbal, written, and reading communication skills

• Ability to carry, lift, pull or push 30 pounds (lbs.)

• Must possess a current California ID or Driver’s License

• CPR Certified. We are open to training the right applicant

• Local residents (San Francisco or immediate areas) highly encouraged to apply

• Reliable transportation (car or ready access to BART, etc.)

• Successful completion and passage of live scan background check, TB

screen, and authorization to work in the U.S.
